SCD Events Calender

Dr. Teruo Higa Dr. Higa Coming to Kansas City

SCD is organizing Dr. Higa’s visit to Kansas City in March 2003 which includes events such as a symposium on EM.

SCD also attended several events this summer to promote Beneficial Microbial technologies. One event was the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements or IFOAM held in Victoria, British Columbia. Eight different presenters from nations such as South Africa, Costa Rica, and New Zealand presented their papers on EM.

“The main focus of IFOAM, as I see it, was people working together on complex environmental problems and coming up with viable, sustainable solutions. Presentations and other venues presented at IFOAM documented the efficacy of EM technologies in achieving many of these sustainable goals.” Barclay Simpson, Consultant, SCD.

SCD also attended SolFest 2002, held in Hopland, California at the Institute for Solar Living. SCD shared products and information with hundreds of interested participants. Our booth was one of the busiest at the festival. Lots of people were interested in learning about beneficial microorganisms in their homes and gardens, in agriculture, in water and wastewater treatment, in industry and human health.
